KYC stands for Know Your Customer—a standard procedure to verify the identity of a business or individual. Since SumoPayroll is a payroll service provider, we request verification of company identity as part of regulatory and compliance measures.
You can start using the application fully—including adding employees and running payroll—even without completing KYC.
However, we encourage companies to complete KYC for account verification and compliance purposes.
To complete KYC, submit a scanned copy of any one of the following documents:
TAN Certificate
PAN Card
GST Certificate
Registration Certificate
Address Proof
